About this area

Counseling Rooted in South Belmont and Newton

The streets near Arsenal Community Park mix old Belmont homes with busy Newton neighborhoods. Many homes sit close to Perkins School for the Blind. Community Rowing is nearby too. This brings lots of families, students, and workers together. I see many things here, like co-parenting stress and tired couples. Commuters who row at Community Rowing say the routine helps them relax. Walking the park paths helps too. But it doesn't fix problems at home. I work with people from this area often in person. I also use telehealth when storms make Route 2 or Trapelo Road rough.

Sessions I've Run Near Arsenal Community Park

This part of South Belmont and Newton has its own kind of stress. Commuting, home fix-ups, and busy family life all show up in my sessions.

Couples worn out by commuting

Many clients near the park drive into Cambridge or Boston each day. That lost time is a top complaint I hear.

Stress after home renovations

Older homes near Newton Commonwealth Golf Course often need fixing up. Money fights over contractors come up a lot.

Co-parenting after separation

Families near Perkins School for the Blind often need help making a parenting plan that fits school life. Drop-off times, therapy visits, and special classes all matter. I look at each child's needs first. A plan that skips these details often falls apart fast.

Winter cabin fever conflicts

When storms hit and couples near the park get stuck inside, small problems grow fast. I keep telehealth open during these weeks.

Burnout from busy schedules

Rowers and golfers near Community Rowing often have busy jobs too. Burnout can make couples feel far apart. Long hours on the water or course take away time once spent at home. Clients often don't notice the gap until it feels too big. I help couples spot that gap early.

Blended family sessions

Families moving near the park often need support. Some come from Waverley or other parts of Belmont. They're learning to blend two homes into one routine.

Realist. I’d recommend Tim if you’re genuinely ready to end your own BS and prepared to feel what’s uncomfortable. He’s a good coach who remains professional and friendly even through friction. He genuinely knows his stuff from decades of experience, takes pride in what he does, and is a proficient listener and learner.

The work helped me dissolve layers and get closer to what I actually feel and what I somatically mean through bodily sensations of truth. By the end, you’ll likely have a greater appreciation for your own agency, volition and the control you do have within your life.

Tim is genuinely a relationship coach with spiritual breadth and depth, rather than merely a “manifestation” coach. Ultimately, the work gets you closer to the answer that’s true by getting you closer to yourself.

My experience with Tim was he was able to stay compassionately present with me during deep dark and bright light moments. This lead to a real shift in the stuck energy I was experiencing. He helps get to the heart of things if you are willing to do your part - highly recommend him as a coach.

Working withTim helped me reclaim parts of myself I had no, or very little relationship with. It moved me towards a more honest, accepting and much kinder relationship with myself. For that I am grateful.

Tim Grimes is an amazing coach. Not just in terms of Manifestation, Law of Attraction/Assumption, but in general. He is serious and dedicated to his work and he is constantly learning and growing. Above all, he is someone who has tried and, yes, has been through many failures in his spiritual/ manifestation practice as he demonstrates with candor and humor on his YouTube channel. When you work with him, you are working with a vast and deep breadth of knowledge, and decades of practical experience. In spite of that, when you are in session with him, it feels like talking with an old friend.

Tim gave some amazing advice to myself and my mother regarding some of the difficulties we’ve been having in our lives. By far some of the most valuable we have ever received. A huge thanks to Tim for all his help

Tim is genuinely loving and compassionate. He helps people better understand how to connect with their own emotions and feelings. I’ve been following his content for a while, and I’ve also had the pleasure of speaking with him over a video call. If you need support, don’t hesitate to reach out to him.

I’ve been reading Tim’s books since 2016, starting with The Joy of Not Thinking. That book was a revelation. I hadn’t realized how much my constant thinking was exhausting me—physically.

His techniques are simple, practical, and genuinely effective. I still use them today. I highly recommend his writing.

I just really love how easily Tim connects with his audience and especially with me. I have been in touch with him and his channel for about a year now, and it has been life changing for me (no exaggeration). If people truly listen to his advice with an open mind, im sure it can change their lives too.
